Chuck is an U.S. action-comedy-drama television program, aired
weekly since 2007.09 and syndicated worldwide. It is set in
Burbank, California, and
tells about an average computer geek who is secretly a
reluctant CIA operative. Chuck’s day job cover, for which he’s
widely over qualified, is computer expert in the Nerd Herd at his
local Buy More (parodies of real-life Best
Buy’s Geek Squad).

The Buy More logo shows a shopping cart carrying three exclamation marks
and on this flag this is shown in yellow with thick
inner background and lining in dark blue, itself fimbriated white and set on a
green disc fimbriated dark blue and white.

In some episodes, the Burbank Buy More store is
felt and act upon by its staff as an independent nation — Buy-Moria,
around whose flag they rally to defend their jobs and way of life. In those
scenes, a flag is used, and it is not clear whether it is, within the fictional
setting, a modified actual Buy More flag, or part of a whimsical interlude not
supposed to be taken as part of the fictional reality. Its design does include
however, the logo and (modified) lettering of the
actual
store.
The flag is a Bahamas-like green and yellow horizontal
triband with dark blue hoist orthogonal triangle, the middle stripe reading
"BUY-MORIA" in dark blue extra-bold compact sans-serif capitals
and the Buy More logo on the triangle. (See some
usage
examples.)

The series has featured at least one fictional country, a Latin American
banana republic called Costa Gravas. Its flag appears in the ep. “Chuck
Versus the Coup d’Etat”, and is essentially
Ecuador upside-down and with the colors altered: a
1:1:2 triband of green, yellow, and red, with a coat of arms centered (itself
very similar to Ecuador’s as well). I
didn’t get a good look at the coat of arms, but as the country was
also a setting of an earlier ep. “Chuck Versus the Angel de la
Muerte”, it may have been shown more clearly there.
